Cognitive Dissonance Much?

This substack comes with a triggering-warning for Trump Snowflakes.

Remarkable. They are spinning things so hard on the Right, the friction burn is about to start a forest fire.  The cognitive dissonance on display would be embarrassing if even a modicum of self-awareness was present. The snowflake fury I’m observing is remarkable in its impotence.

First of all, the characterization they have manufactured over our feelings toward Trump is remarkable. Let’s suss this out because maybe it can help bring some of the lightly-brainwashed back over to reality.

Ignoring the Right’s cancellation of Disney and the FBI and the Justice Department, according to them it’s the Left that is all about cancel culture, right? We made Senator Al Franken step down over an altercation the actual woman involved forgave him for. From Governor Cuomo to John Edwards to Anthony Wiener (of the unfortunate last name), if you are a Democrat in power and are at the center of a scandal, you’re out, even if absolved of that scandal. But the Left is only gunning for Trump for political reasons and NOT because we don’t tolerate illegality from ANY representatives. Right…

Since the choice is to deal with reality and face their finely-cultivated cognitive dissonance or offer up one ridiculous interpretation of events after another, each more preposterous than the last, OF COURSE they’re choosing to maintain that dissonance. Now the line being pushed is that the indictment of the leader of their Party is actually a good thing. It’ll make him a martyr and will only help him fundraise. Well, he can raise all the funds he wants to. It won’t do him any good from the slammer.

And make no mistake: It’s over now. Only the deepest drinkers of his kool-aid will stand with him now. And that number, be they rabid and quite vocal on social media and with the press, is quite small and dwindling every second. Americans don’t like supporting losers and if the DA got a Grand Jury to sign off on 34 felony counts in the Stormy Daniels case ALONE, without even getting to Georgia and all the other MUCH STRONGER cases coming down the pike, Trump is a LOSER.

It’s over. Now snap out of it and rejoin us in the land of reality. There’s no reason to go down with the ship. Especially not Ship Trump. 👀
